The Japanese hydrangea usually blooms in the rainy season from the beginning of June to mid-July. The rainy season in Japan is really terrible it’s like a storm in the Philippines that’s why I don’t like rainy days, but when I started to live here in Japan. I learned about the Ajisai or hydrangea flower. During this season, the whole areas of Japan are becoming more colourful with different shades of blue, pink, purple and white just as springtime. I have so much fun seeing these flowers. It made me fall in love with the rain and the flower. As a matter of fact, hydrangea flowers bloom in varied formations and colours, so I decided to put meanings on them.
